Another suspension thread JIC????
Another suspension thread JIC????
I am new to maxima.org. I have a 2k2 with modified maxpeed springs(one cut coil). I am putting 19's on in place of my stock se rims. Anyways when i get the 19's i don't want the cut springs cause it will ride like crap. I am looking at the JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers or some sort of ground control setup. How low can you make it with the JIC's? Would you be able to tuck 19' rims? Any help or pictures would be appreciated.

Nope, This is actually my second maxima.
To answer your question,
The JIC is way beyond that of a GC setup. The GC setup is just a make shift sleeve coilover kit. JIC is an integrated system.
The JIC's will allow you to drop the car without losing any ride quality, unlike GC setup. For more detailed information go ahead and PM me. I can shoot you a lot of links describing the suspension and it's benefits.
BTW, I have a set on two of my cars, soon to be third. I'm so happy with them. I didn't know a coilover could ride this good and handle amazing at the same time. Oh I can get you in contact with my guy and he can totally hook you up.
Peace.
