Anyone ?
Does ANYONE have a Y pipe on their 2k2 or 2k3 ? Is anyone with a 2k2 or 2k3 serious about performance or are you guys just concerned about undercar neons and stereo speakers ?
Am I the only one curious about Y pipes for our late fifth gens ?

There have been several threads recently on the 02-03 y and b pipes including one that is couple of threads down from your. The only one that has installed and dyno'd one that I know of is Larry. If you do a search under "Larry" you should find some good info.

Right now, I have a Y pipe, B pipe, metallic substrate cat and Stillen rear section. It sounds great. The power gains with the Y pipe were definitely noticeable. It cost me nothing to put on because I have friends that own a speed shop and they help me for free. There was no problem with it fitting on...well, except for a small metal bar that the y pipe would hit under full throttle. Took us a while to figure out where it was hitting, but we got it and took it off. It seems to be a useless piece of metal. The Y pipe was hitting it because it hangs a little lower than your stock exhaust.

The metal piece looked almost like a bracket of some sort but it really was not holding anything in place...so we just removed it. I am not sure what the current pricing is for their stuff. I do know that Dallas @ Warpspeed did say they were running some kind of sale through the end of Jan. I would suggest calling them about that stuff.

The Cattman pipes should be ready soon from what I hear. That's what I'm going with. The one on my 95 SE lasted forever and the fit and quality was exceptional. Full stainless with slip joints! Cattman was the originator of the y-pipe and has more experience with them than anyone else. I believe that's why he is taking his time on the 02-03 model as he wants to make sure it is perfect.

I put the WSP y and b pipe on yesterday paid a smelly guy 100 to do it since i dont have the time and patience and tools for those bolts. The gains are definetly noticable.
Put it this way, my friend has a 5spd max with a whole buncha ****. When we both gun it on 30 he pulls. and i mean he pulls. 2 cars by 100. The gunned it last night at 30 again, and guess what , i was flying away =], i didnt get that good of a look, but his front bumper was at my rears

Got mine installed and finally not noise except were my b pipe I think is hitting my RSB bracket. I will fix that this weekend BTW I ran a 03 cls 6 spd that traps almost 101 and was at his front fender from a 20-80 roll. So as soon as I get my timing bumped up and MAF replaced I will have track results and dynos. Matt

Haven't people been saying that for awhile? If you do, in fact, go to Budget this Saturday, how long will it take them? With the current Warpspeed sale, I'm not sure if I can wait!
