Frankencar!!! I've had the Injen and the Frankencar is better in every category other than appearance IMO. I'm pretty sure the Frankencar gives more hp than the Stillen as well.

that wouldnt really make a difference i dont think....i believe Kloogy ran his car at the track, back to back runs, one w/ Injen and one w/ FrankenCar...Frankencar was faster....dont quote me on that though, he'll come up in here and tell you himself

Not at all. I had the Frankencar first, used it for about 3 months. This was the first performance upgrade I've ever done on a car, so I didnt know what to expect. I bought the Injen later and used it for a few months as well. Then out of curiosity switched back to the Frankencar and was amazed by the sound and gains over the Injen. I've never met the owner of Frankencar. He lives on the other side of the country!

MAF failures have nothing to do with the Frankencar midpipe--it's all about what filter you use with it and how you service it.

The MAF failures are only coming from K&N style filters which are oiled. If you get the Frankencar intake with APexi filter you wont have to worry about ruining your MAF sensor. www.frankencar.com

I have an Injen intake and I love it. I will by dynoing the car in February after I get my exhuast and will compare it to those who have the Franken car intake. There have been reports of knocking during the summer of people who have the FC intake as it draws hot air from the engine bay, but thats the only con I've read about. And I've heard of at least 2 people who use the Apexi filter who have had failures. Perhaps its b/c they used an "oily" air filter before? I do know one thing: our cars are the only ones I have ever heard of whose MAF's fail b/c of K&N filters. Either way, it would probably be better to get a 2001 MAF first.

Jesse

PS- avoid Stillen.

I say get the FrankenCar Intake with an APEXi air filter. But then again to each is own. I say do a SEARCH on all intakes and then decide whats best for your needs.

I had a Stillen, swapped it out for an Injen, then switched back because I like the Stillen better. While the Injen definitely looked better, I think the Stillen performs better. That is just my opinion.
