Tein Type-SS coilovers

I was digging around on Groupbuycenter and found a guy selling em. He came back with a shipped price of $1033, which is pretty good imho.

Has anyone ridden in a car with these in? I'm very tempted, since the JICs are more expensive but simliar quality. Tein has a very good reputation from what I've gathered.

Any help is appreciated (I'm not a n00b...I did use the search button).

Would you do it for 1k?

Not springs. Coil-over system for less than $1050 shipped. I'm interested in feedback on the Coil-Overs. Springs still doesn't solve the strut problem.

I can send you the guys contact info. They are supposed to be direct bolt-on pieces of equipment.

Yeah, that is a good price. But think about this way: Tein offers a ONE year warranty on these coilovers versus JIC who offer a LIFETIME warranty on their coilovers.

Myself, I'm shopping for JICs.

Where did you hear the lifetime warranty on the JICs? When I ordered mine, the dealer mentioned that the warranty was 1 yr. I'm not going to complain about a lifetime warranty though.

Hm, really?! I don't remember where I read it. I'll look for it when I get a free chance. Unfortunately, I have to go to class soon.
