$800 to change ignition coils?!? Come on!

I was told by my nissan local dealer and service center (autotech and koeppel) that my ignition coils are no good and I had to replace them them (100 for each coils and approx. 80 for labor rip off!!!). My waranty just expired so it wasn't covered. I had the symptons, the SES light but my TCS light came on as well. I had brought it in 2 times before but they couldn't find any problems and just reset the computer. I think my coils are in the situation they are in because of the dealer's inability to find problems ahead of time. What do you guys think? Also I was able to buy the coils from courtesy for 47 bucks (awesome price!). Nissan dealers (except courtesy of course) are rip off. Don't know if I am ever going to buy another nissan due to poor service. It seems I always get the run around of I always have a feeling I am getting ripped off by them.
