what can i do with them? i have clears on all sides..but i'm stuck when it comes to my 2k3 back lights..they're so ugly...i'm thinkin of replacing the orange with clears..but i dont kno...can someone give me some ideas...thanks

Search for posts by emax95. The orange can not be removed without going through about 3 sets of tail lights to get two. What most 2k2+ owners who dont like it are doing is spraying red translucent paint into the orange area to make it red. It actually does look pretty good too. Search will bring up worlds of results for this.

Or you can buy 2k-2k1 lights, either SE or non-SE are different than what the 2k2-2k3 came with.

when you paint the tails red...will they shine red when the turn signals are on? or will they still have the ugly orange?

Yep, have the same problem. I hate the ricer boy chrome on them. I'm hoping someone will trade me with their older all red tails. I have to research to see which ones came with what taillights. I know the older SE's had smoke but I just want plain red lights. Anyone know which ones are which and which ones I should be looking for?

i think the old gxe's had all red (like 2k1?)

2k-2k1 GXE and GLE are all red.

Testor's candy apple red translucent paint from wal-mart. It was like $2 i think. Search for the thread on how to do it, it's incredibly easy. Search for "five minute all red" and you'll find the thread. Just go slow and do 2-3 lighter coats.
