$9,500 in Mods?

I track all my parts and labor expendatures in Excel (yes, you may call me a dork).

I went in yesterday and figured up how much I've spent on the Max, in (unneccessary?) mods, since I bought it just over 1 year ago...

$9,500!!!! Holy crap!

Of course that included $2500 in labor for my new engine (see sig.), but that was a hidden cost I had to pay for ntirous.

I got $1,000 back when I sold all my nitrous related parts; but that still leaves $8500... and I'm only pushing 200FWHP-DANG.

I had no idea.

Just had to vent my extreme suprise and say, "WATCH OUT!"

The mod bug is sneaky and addictive, and he bites hard.

$9,500!!!! Holy crap!

Of course that included the $2500 in labor for the new engine, and I got $1,000 back when I sold all my nitrous related parts; but that still leaves $6000. And I'm only pushing 200FWHP-dang.

I had no idea. I could have paid off most of what I owe with that money.

I don't even want to think about what i've spent on my car, and right now it's all stock,

I also track my expenses, use Quicken, and it is surprising how much I've spent on the car and its not like I've done much to it yet. Everything just adds up so quickly.

Why did you have to start this thread? These kind of thoughts are best left unsaid so I don't have to start to get curious!

hmmm, 200 for tint, 100 for intake/midpipe, 30 for front clears, 100 for rsb, 200 for fog lights, 20 for grounding stuff, 10 for ooglie HD grill = $630.

not too bad, and my extended list isn't much worse; 150 for ypipe, 100 for muffler, 150? for bpipe = $400, meaning that total i'll have spent about a grand. i'm ok with that.

I spent $11,000 on my car, not including car payment or gas. It adds up quick. I should've just saved for a Z.

$500.00 for wheels, $45.00 for K&N, $95.00 for Muffler, $95.00 for springs, $65.00 for AE sills, $35.00 for FSTB and about $500.00 in stereo. Man, it adds up quick! I don't even want to know what I have in my Mustang
