Man what kind of shop did you go to that couldnt figure out where your main cat is?
It is the one right under your drivers seat area. If the mechanic couldnt figure that out, then you need to go to another shop.
If you have a FedSpec car, you need a testpipe that is around 18.5" and has a O2 sensor in it. But I believe you are going to throw a check engine light because you dont have a cat anymore. That O2 sensor checks to make sure the CAT is there and working.
If you have a CaliSpec car, you need about a 12.5" straight pipe and no holes for an O2 sensor. You wont get a check engine light here since there is no O2 sensor after the main cat.
Hope you got the right parts, and hope you plan on taking it to another shop.

4plugs upfront near the header means Cali spec. 3plugs mean FedSpec.
Or like I said earlier go under the car and look at your cat, if you have an O2 sensor behind the cat, then it is FEDSPEC. READ

Don't bother with a testpipe unless you are N20, SC, or Turbo. Makes your exhaust sound like crap, bad for the environment, illegal and you will probably lose low end tq especially if you have an aftermarket y-pipe. If you don't have an after market y-pipe it probably is pretty useless too.
