HID Theft Kit Instructions

I obtained the instructions on how to install the Nissan HID theft deterent kit and would like to post in the How To section, but do not know how to post the images. Can any body point me in the right direction?

There is a test post area

under the main forums and there is a description of how this works there as well.

Is it wise to have a public post on the HID anti-theft install?

Don't get me wrong...I know that it is in your best intentions and I am not trying to flame you. It just gives thieves the missing link.

Since the instructions do not show any "tricks", and just indicate how to install new parts that make it harder to access the HIDs, I did not think there was anything wrong in posting this info. If the moderator thinks I was wrong he may certainly remove this information.

A thieve dose not need a missing link if they want your lights it is sooooooo easy to take them

The anti theft kit makes it a little harder,so hopefully they move on to a easier target. That is the best you can hope for. Know flame intended. I hope very much you post the instructions , I would really like to buy this kit

PROBLEM is : there is NO external indication like a decal that says "it is protected". they may attacked your car anyway then find out it's harder to do...

I had mine installed...

Yeah, I wonder how smart it really is to install this. A theif comes up to your car trying to steal your headlights, gets frustrated, takes the crowbar he used to pry up your hood and fenders, and decides to take his frustration on your windows, door panels, tail lights, etc. And thanks to Nissan's extensive alarm system, he gets away with it, and the horn didn't beep once...

God, I hate lose lose situations.

The way I see it...if you're gonna get your lights stolen, your car is probably damaged, it's gonna cost you money and the thiefs get away with the goods

I would prefer that if my car gets damaged at least the punks don't get the lights

So put as much anti-theft stuff on your car as you can afford
...remember the harder the target, they'll probably walk away and look for an easy mark
