How many miles do you have on your car? It may be time to change the spark plugs as well. I just changed mine at 53K and it made a world of difference. The enginer is quieter, smoother, and has more pull. My original plugs were pretty much fried when I changed them. Platinum for 100k miles HA! Yeah right... I went with the new iridium plugs.

Piece of cake! Just get a bottleo of fuel system cleaner or fuel injector cleaner and pour all of it in your empty fuel tank. Fill up with gas and it should do the job within one tank. Some of the brands noted on here have been CD2, Red Line, and some others.

Do a search. Someone just wrote up a how to, I think it was SprintMax. But go with the injector cleaner first and see if that clears up the problem. Your plugs should be ok after 27,000 miles unless you are running really rich and they are fouled.

Take it to a shop!!!!!!!! Those bottles only do so much.. You need to clean out your throttlebody, fuel injection system and perform other minor maintainence needed when nearing 30k..

Spark plugs are located under the plastic valve cover-cover and behind the intake manifold... It's a bish to change the rear ones...

Easy...easy....you do not need to take it to a shop just yet. Most shops will just pour a bottle of the fuel injector cleaner in your tank and call it a "fuel injection cleaning special" anyhow. So start with that yourself and if your car is still sluggish you may need to clean the throttle body as mentioned, but that is doubtful at 27K miles.

They are not that difficult with the correct tools.
1. Spark plug socket
2. Extension pieces (ideally having a wobble end type)
3. Torque wrench (necessity! the aluminum head is oh so soft!)
4. 10 mm socket for the ignition coil pack bolts.

Having small hands also help!

STP, CD2, and Red Line. All pretty much the same. STP and CD2 are one time dump in the tank. Red Line can be a one time dump, and/or an ongoing cleaning using a lesser amount.
