My Max has 2 blank rectangles on the left lower dash. What options or features are they for?

 

Same here....Perhaps they are just spaces for accessory buttons that you can install.

 

not positive of their exact function, although i do know I have seen the blank space filled on the I30t model (Infiniti). I guess since they use the same platform, a lot of the parts are from the same mold and it was just more cost effective to mold one dash for all models.

 

I think I remember now that you brought up the I30. It is the same panel as the I30. On the I30 I think it is used for the rear sunshade or something like that....

 

Speaking of the left side, I notice on the right side there is a black "sticker", sort of, which looks like you could pull it off. It is just above the little thing with slits in it, which looks like a microphone.

 

The "extra" spots are for add on equipment such as an aftermarket alarm light, which i have.

 

That could be for the TCS....The slits are for the climate control system.

 

The removable piece on the right side is for the TCS.
