I've read a lot of the "squeaks amd rattles" threads and many people seem to have a similar ticking sound when they ride over bumps. I have this same problem, usually it sounds like its coming from the passenger side door or dash, but other times it sounds like its coming from the rear. Turns out the tick is coming from above, right where the lights/sunroof controls are located. When I push on it I can duplicate the noise and if I hold it in place while driving, the ticking is eliminated. Hope this helps out.

 

I found a noise there too, but realized it was my stupid sunglasses rattling around in there. I think my "ticks" are coming from the door panels or switches...both sides on the front. I've given up and just crank up the stereo!

my glasses rattle with a certain tone of bass. its pretty annoying but i can deal.

and yeah, sometimes if im driving with no radio on a notice some rattles but i very rarely drive with no music. so i can deal with that too.
