Anyone in Canada bought/leased a 2003 Max? what $ discount off list should I expect?
Anyone in Canada bought/leased a 2003 Max? what $ discount off list should I expect?
I'm looking to lease a loaded 2003 Max SE. I wanted to see if anyone has bought/leased a similar car in Canada recently. If so, what kind of discount off list price were you able to get?
For those reading from the U.S. that may have bought/leased a similar car, on a % basis what kind of discount were you able to get.
A loaded 2003 SE is about C$38,000 in Canada.
Also, for anyone else looking to get a 2003, Nissan Canada has dropped their purchase/lease financing rates to 2.8% and 4.2% respectively in anticipation of the 2004 launch.
Thanks for any help you can provide

i picked up a loaded 2k3 se back in OCT 6spd got it for a fairly good price after taxes. I got it for msrp roughly C$36,000 from what i remember don't SEs start at 33k and 3k for leatherPackage and 1k for auto tranny. if you get stick get your dealer to give it to you for 36K taxes in , and 37k for an auto. You shouldn't have to pay more than that.
I might be buying a 2k3 soon as my car is close to a write off (2k2)..
I bought my 2k2 Leather SE 6 speed HLSD for $32,700 brand new, before taxes..
I think i can get the 2k3 for less, like $31K
Let me know, maybe we can buy it together..

you should be able to buy under invoice, especially with 2004 coming out next month.

'03 price
I just picked up my '03 last Saturday and the price of the car was $34500 I compared it to the price on Carcost Canada and according to that they made $156 on the car. Who knows how accurate that price is, but there was no other dealer that would even come close. If you want the car cost on it, let me know I can email it over..
Thanks for the info....
I'm in Ontario (London), and I'm looking at the 03 SE with sunroof and auto (I know, I know, but it's for me and the girlfriend...)
Based on what I've heard here, and talking to dealers, that I can get it for around C$ 34,000 (from list of $38,100)
Can't wait to get it sorted out!

Attention Southwestern Ontario Owners: Any dealers/Salespeople I should talk to?
Thanks again for all of the info.
To reply to the last reply, I beleive a 'crapmatic' is an auto transmission?
I live in London, and will drive a little bit for a good deal - any of you who have got good deals recently bought from a dealer in my area?
The most powerful tool in such a negotiation is to be able to go to a dealer and tell him you know someone who got the same car FROM THEM for XXX$ and make them match it or better it.
If anyone is willing to provide me with specific dealers/salespeople, and the deal that you got from them, that would be greatly appreciated! I won't mention any names, but it is a great benchmark to start at....
Thanks

The $34,500 you are quoting...taxes in?!?! Which options did you get? From my research, it seems that the Dealer invoice for a 2003 SE w/leather and a Manual 6 is $33,733. I am also looking to purchase one within the next few weeks. BTW, I live in the GTA.

Price of $34,500 - That is before tax with Leather and Auto
My understanding is that invoice for this car with auto is $34,000 to $34,500, wich matches the invoice estimate in the above post for a 6-speed
I know, I know, I should be looking at a 6 speed - May still get one over the auto...
