Just installed new rotors and metal pads. I kind of hear a light grinding sound. Also there is a lot more heat than before. And there is a light burning metal smell. I know there is a break-in period. I drove up and down the street a few times when I put them on. Is this normal for breaking new rotors and pads in? Also the pads only had one metal clip(wear indicator) the old ones had metal clips on both pads. Does it matter? Thanks.
