Pull a boat?

Could my 2k2 max pull an 18.5 foot Glastron that weighs almost 3000 lbs.? Will I have to worry about the max getting pulled in to the water?

thanks

What does you OWNERS MANUAL say about the maximum towing capacity of your particular car?

According to page 9-16 of your manual, the MAX weight is 1000 lbs (including the trailer itself).

I used to pull a similar sized boat in my 3.0 Tauras. It can be done but it is hard on your car, especially the tranny, I eventually had to replace mine.

As far as your Max getting pulled into the water that will not happen but never and I mean never let your front wheels get wet.

If you need to refer to some stuff, this site is great...

http://www.nissan-techinfo.com

look under owner's manuals and follow the menus...
