The roughness of KYB AGX....

Question for you all, I've been reading reviews and posts for ages now about how good the AGXs are, but that they are stiff, real stiff. The Progress/AGX package seems popular and I wonder how stiff it would be set on 1 front and back with Maxspeeds. That's what I want to try this month, but if it's like riding in a cut spring civic, I'll pass. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

If you are really worried about the stiffness and are going to leave it set on one, I would save some money and get the Tokico's.

I've thought of that too, I really don't dig the Toks at all and I'm getting the AGX in trade as it is, so I just want to know what I'm in for

As far as roughness, its all relative. I have ridden in cars with the AGX and it wasn't to stiff as far as I am concerned. The stiffness also depends on the spring you purchase.

They're stiff and I don't feel a damn bit of difference between the various settings.

Hah, that's what I thought would be the answer Andy. I have 16s right now so I have a feeling I'll like it until I go 18s, then it'll be like riding in my gfs sentra.... Not sure the Maxspeeds make much difference, except a little less low.
