not good.... may be the word " cracking" is not good choice of word.... just metals rubbing each other once in a while... and at certain RPM giving gas make the pipe vibrate alot....i guess i need to take it back to the place where it was install and recheck it out...

the vibration that you are most likely experiencing is an exhaust brace rubbing the y pipe. the aftermarket sits lower and hits the first brace. you can either remove it completely or go to a hardware store buy about a half inch longer bolt with about 5 washers per bolt and put the brace back up. taking it off completely wont hurt but i figured it was on for rigidity purposes so i lowered mine.

sure. if you look under the car in about the middle of the car, there is a black exhaust brace. its main job is to keep the pipe from hitting the road if it ever fell. there are four bolts on each side. if you arent lowered, you can actually take it off without jacking or ramping it. i think its a 12 or 14mm bolt. take it off completely and leave it off and the noise will go away. if you want, take one of the bolts to home depot, get the same grade of bolt just about 1/2 inch longer and about 5 flat washers per bolt. so 8 bolts, 40 washers later you put the bolt through the brace, put the washers between the brace and the body of the car. do the same on all sides and you should be all good.

I hope I can explain that to the installer. but i'll go get those parts and try to explain best I can but those parts are not really needed right? because if we can't figure it out we might as well just take them out so it don't vibrabte teh whole car.

I didn't see a brace? The only one I saw (and removed) was the one which the stock Y was connected to, which was bolted to the tranny case. The only brace I see that goes across that "tunnel" or "channel" is much farther back?

finally got it to stop vibration. i just figured out what you were talking about but i just inserted some heat resistance material b/t the black exhaust brace and the pipe and it held the pipe nice and tight and the vibration is gone. but i'm still trying to figure out how to connect the y pipe to the rubber housing. other then that i'm
just need to stop by the track and test it out and see if there are good improvement. since there is lot's of debate on 2k2 if y pipe is really benifical or is b pipe benifial

I actually installed the Y-pipe myself (with help from some local .orgers). I followed the instructions, but didn't see the brace you're referring to. As for the bracket that goes to the rubber bushing, there's no way to bend it. That piece is welded on. I'm going to call Warpspeed about the problem tomorrow, and recommend that you guys do too...
I definitely feel a hp boost, but the noise/vibration doesn't seem worth it...
