Windshield Crack

I have a small crack in my front windshield about the size of a pin head. I thought about filling it with a dab of superglue. Does anyone besides me think this might work?

Thanks.

Go to a 'pro' glass repair guy or they do have over the counter windshield repair kits.

Yeah, I know they sell over-the-counter stuff. I guess I was looking for another solution. The crack is not big, I just wanted to keep it from getting bigger.

Thanks.

Why? It is inexpensive and designed just for this. Other products may seem to fill the crack/hole, but may not do much to prevent it 'running' later on.

Try callling your insurance co.

Most insurance companies will send a guy out to fix a small windshield crack free.

Most Auto Glass places will fix it for 40-50 bucks with a vacuum sealer that draws the liquid into the crack this helps stop it from spreading. And they'll knock that charge off a replacement windshield if the crack does spread.
