CVT for Maxima?

I was wondering if anyone thinks the Maxima or for that matter any other Nissan will be a getting a CVT in the future?

I think the Murano and the FX45 both come with that as the standard (or only?) transmission option.

I realize it can't replace the manual - but it might be a good replacement for the A/T option.

Does anyone think the CVT will be more robust or just as big a piece of crap as the A/T in the 5 gen maxima?

It seems to work for Audi, but we'll have to wait and see on the Nissan version for the United States. Give it a year or two before passing judgement. That's my opinion.
