Nokya headlamps

I saw an add for some online store selling Nokya headlamps.

This would be for non-HID setups.

I guess these are one of the many "near HID" white bulbs that are available.

I have a 2000 GLE - any opinions on these or other bulb repalcements would be appreciated.

As a side note - has anyone actually had their OEM bulbs burnout from use - not from a rock shot or some other event. I've always been curious about this - I had my last vehicle for 7 years and had the headlights on both day and night while driving and they never burned out. My car is going on 3 years and I run my headlights alot (I don't like the auto-on/off so I just leave them on).

The Nokya bulbs arent bad. I had them and they were considerably blue-er than my Xtreme whites. They reflect really blue in the headlight housing. Not a bad light, but not all that awesome either.

I give Nokya the big thumbs down. I went through 2 sets of headlights and one set of fogs(melted the wires). You can't see anything in incelement weather either with the blue bulbs. I have PIAA Plats in my headlights now, and they are super bright white, but I swear I could see better with my stock lamps.

I am gonna have to go with Kramerica72 on this one. Couple months ago I bought a set for my girlfriend's 95 Audi A6 and I swear the visibility was horrible, much worest than stock bulb. It has a blue-ish color output and in a rainy day at night, I swear I couldn't see pass 7 feet infront of me while driving.

P.S. Eventually one side burn out in 4 months, then replace with Silvana Cool blues from Walmart. It wasn't as blue but its more visibility compare to Nokya.
