Emergency brake

Hey,
This morning, my mother took the car without telling me, and she drove the car with the emergency brake on so i didn't get a chance to tell her it was on...my question is...is the car okay? i mean like should i get it checked out or anything???

BTW, the drive was down the street...but still - kinda concerned..

Thankz in advance..

actually I would be more concerned because she was able to drive with the e-brake up......if I had the ability to drive off with the brake up I would get my brakes checked

my car won't even move when I have the e-brake up

You probably didn't have the ebrake on all the way. Its easier to really put force on the ebrake if its using the force of you're leg. I think people tend to not use enough force when pulling on a center counsole ebrake, via arm stength.

Dont worry man the only thing that happened was your break pads got worn out a little but if it wasnt a far drive, then there is nothing to worry about.
BTW dont let your parents drive the car
