HELP!! 02 6-sp hard to shift....

I hope someone can help me witt some knowledge/advice on my 02 6-sp. I have just crossed the 20K mile-line and noticed that, at times, when I shift out of 1st it is a little hard to do. All of the other gears shift very smoothly, but 1st seems to be very harsh. Has anyone else experienced this before??? It's making me want to do a tranny fluid change. Where can I buy the Redline tranny fluid so many org members praise???

There is a TSB for the early 02s that changes the clutch disk. Do a search, maybe thats your problem...

Actually, that TSB is for the screaching noise when the clutch is released. I just had this done. In order to get to the clutch assembley, they do need to drop the tranny to get to it.
But I swear that it shifts a little smoother since this has been done.

Do you have the TSB# for this??? Also, what bulb size did you use for your PIAA Xtreme clearance lights???

Here is the link for the TSB: NTB02-084 . Go to the bottom of that page and look for TSB #: NTB02-084.
As far as the clearance bulbs that I used above the blinker in the head lights, I used PIAA Xtreme White Wedge Bulbs.

Bulb Type: 168 Wedge
Wattage: 5w
Technology: Xtreme White
Location: Turn signals,
side marker lights,
and parking lights

Hope this helps...

I didn't fit the wedge bulbs into my turn signal. I put those in the light above the turn signal. I didn't bother to change the turn signal bulb.
