thread damaged on o2 sensor replacement!
Back side o2 sensor gone bad the other day. Call the dealer and got it order. Wow, the thing cost me $147 w/tax, Ouch! Got home, the next day, jack the car up and did the procedure....anyway i installed it using the anti-seized about 3 years ago. When attempt to changed it and it felt kinda hard coming out. I was thinking to myself, damn, i hope the threads doesn't stripped. Finally, got it out. Sure enough the freakin thing stripped. I managed to put the new one back on...only half way though
Just to pass the info...
be careful when trying to change O2 sensor w/ any race down pipe
