Torque steer!
Just got a first-hand lesson today on the way home from work. Went to pass some geezer in a chevy on a two lane road and punched it just as I was pulling into the left lane. Lurched bigtime to the left! I guess I have to remember - pull left, straighten wheel, then hammer the pedal. I thought autos were less prone to this...

If not I would say it to be a road condition.

The torque steer you are experiencing is from your offset of the wheels.
