Courtesy FSTB Question
Those of you with Courtesy's FSTB......did the installation require any cutting or hacking away of metal? I recent;y visited some guy site and he had pics of his courtesy FSTB installed in his 5th gen maxima. He actually had to hack away about an inch of metal to install it. Is that necessary?

For more info, click on the search link in the upper right hand corner of this page, enter "FSTB" in the "Search by Keyword" box, and then click on the "Perform Search" button.
Yes... but I bought mine before they had the 5th gen version of the FSTB. I had to cut a little section off an air box bracket. No biggy. If I had the stock airbox on instead of the popcharger you wouldn't even be able to tell. It's definately much less invasive than the giant holes people are putting in their fenders for the CAI.

I just installed the courtesy FSTB this past week. I did not have to cut anything. the installation went ok except for the fact that a sensor by the air box had to be relocated. the one that is plugged into a white half circle clip.
