This is oh, so tempting. My wheels would fit right on there too. I would have to lose the ricer spoiler too. I would have to sell mine privately, but I could probably dump it for $14,500 or so.

Any feedback on this car?

Hmmm. Interesting. The RSX doesn't seem to be a very popular choice. Looking at some of the modded ones on Cardomain, I got addicted. With springs, wheels and a body kit, those things look awesome. Plus they are quick. Oh well....guess I'll stick with the Max.....

I loved my Integra ('91)...drilled 175,000 miles into it...but I'd stick with the Maxima if only because the RSX is so small.

I am completely in love with that second one I posted. I am not a big guy, nor is my wife (thank god). When you guys say "too small", do you mean "too small" as in a chick car or "too small" as in I bump my head on the ceiling and have no backseat? The latter of the two is actually what I am looking for. It only weighs 2700 lbs...

I personally like small cars - handles better and much more sporty. If I didn't need the space I'd get RSX in a heart beat. I used to have an Integra. It was an awesome car, the engined sounded sweet and the performance great.

And, I also don't get people knocking cars because it happens to share same platform with lesser mark Will we be knocking 6th gen because it shares the platform with Altima? Do we knock I30 because it shares platform with Max or G20 for that matter? This has to stop.

you could....

You could wait for the TSX that due soon. It is supposed to be a 4-Door version of that car. The CL/TL will still be an upper model compared to both of them still.

I used to drive an Acura...It's a nice car...but, you would feel hurt whenever someone pops the Acura symbol or Honda Symbol off your car. That's why I bought a Nissan. Who wants that hanging around their neck.

Good luck with you decision!

if you could get an even trade, i would say go for it, but since its about 7k more than what you could get for your max, i say no. i have been in one before and they are great. handling is good, engine sound real nice, only problem is that like all hondas u dont experience the power until you are about .5k from redline. if size is a problem maybe you should look into a WRX

The RSX is a sweet car. And Lord knows they have more aftermarket support than we do.

BUT... no VQ =

Besides, wouldn't you miss all of us making fun of you evey time you post about one of your mods going horribly wrong?!?

Are you out of your damn mind andy? You are now married with a sports sedan, and you are thinking about selling it for a tiny hatchback? Keep in mind that some day I'm sure you are planning to have kids, and little junior will not like the back of the rsx. Keep the max 100%. Listen to us here, we have no biases.

The RSX is a new civic with more juice. I would definitely keep yours over that. It may be quicker and have better handling, but its still racer boy car.

I wouldn't do it. I like RSX's and alot of the modded ones are sweet looking, but in my opinion your Max is just as good looking if not better, seats 4 comfortably because its not the size of a civic , and more unique as there are less modded Maxima's rolling around.

I think I'm going to go test drive one today, just to get it out of my system. I took the virtual tour of the interior at Acura.com and I am still in love with it. Perforated leather, 6 gears, a 500 lb weight reduction, and a buttload of aftermarket support are huge selling points for me.

The car is always garaged, so unless it happens while I am out shopping or something, I'm not too woried about someone stealing my emblems.

The Ad says the owner has invested over 30K in the car. Any idea what the 30K consists of?

Only thing I can think of is that he means the car is worth over 30K WITH the mods he's done. Otherwise, I don't see how he can put in 30K of aftermarket mods (hell, isn't 30K the price of converting a regular Corvette to a Lingenfelter???).

Asu, I would NOT do the trade. An RSX is a nice car for what it is, but I don't think you can compare it to a Max. IMO, a Max is more classy and refined, whereas the RSX is a car a 16yr old who just got his license would get.

Damn, I just checked out your ride and it's sweet. Seeing the number of mods, I would definitly stick with the maxima. If you were comming from a stripped down automatic gxe, then I'd say go for it. As much as I like the rsx, I would never get one because I've heard that acura skimps out on usual features like a center arm rest and power seats. That car may be nice, but comfortwise the maxima wins. I'm sure that gas milage is probably the same as well.

My friend's got an 02 RSX in that blue you were talking about; not a bad car, but definetly too small and cramped for me. I'd say yeah, the potential for modding is there, but you may end up regretting your max trade in for it down the road.

Of course, if can keep the max and get the RSX as a secondary car, I'd say go fer it!

If I had $40,000 worth of car to play with, it would be with a 350Z track and a couple of grand for mods.
