My max is now THE ultimate 5th gen sleeper

Check these pics out and tell me what you think. And NO comments on how clean the car is!!! 650 miles through the backroads of Louisiana and Mississippi will do alot to your car... in other words bugs galore, that and the car hasn't been washed since November 22nd. Oh and how do ya'll think the 15" steelies will hold up to the boost?? oh yeah, and watch out for the bling under my hood... If you notice this is a different setup with shorter/colder return air from the intercooler (why the piping goes opposite of the other hlh0501 kits)

I feel the Maxima is an ultimate sleeper only if you keep it in stock form as much as possible (no ricey wings)... I have so many kills because people don't know that a Max is really FAST...

Is everyone going turbo???

Awesome ride. Wash it up (no flame) and take more pics. We would certainly be interested in another turboed 5th on the org.

Well, I forgot to mention I have more than just the kit... I also have a Unorthodox Racing Ultralight Flywheel, a Unorthodox Racing Ultralight Underdrive Pulley, an ACT Stage 2 clutch, a Walbro GSS342 HP fuel pump, and an HKS SS BOV. So it revs really fast, and the total came out to about 5000 with everything said and done, which is including the price of the flywheel and new clutch etc as well as more installation fee. And I think its time for me to change my sig...

oh yeah, and watch out for the bling under my hood...
polished turbo's are now including in all of my kits, along with the walbro high-pres fuel pumps!

choiy,
I know Finish Line Auto Craft in Gardena has done a bunch of superchargers and 5speed conversions on maximas, and im sure they could install a turbo kit for you. Their number is 310-767-1577 if you are interested, ask for John Lee. Where in So Cal are you??

nah...i can see the intercooler and ic piping...

that's one wicked GXE..

i think you'll need some light 17s(or 18s if you don't mind showing off just a bit) with sticky-azz tires for little bit better traction...lots of hp in a front wheel drive cars' not always a good thing especially lauching off the lines...

Thanks, and you can't see the intercooler piping unless you're rather close to the ground like that camera shot, and yes I do need new wheels/tires more than anything else, too bad I just spent al my money...

Yah pretty big shop, does lots of collision repair and such. John's a kinda tall asian guy (dont know if he's korean). You should give him a call and ask about your turbo, hes a good guy and will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Now, if Hal can just get the compressor discharge from the turbo to go towards the FRONT of the car, he can eliminate the U-turn. I like that setup a lot better though!

Don't they make clockwise compressors?
