SR-97. but goo gone should work fine also.

Make sure you use a 100% or high quality cotton cloth to avoid scratching the window. I final rub with some alcohol after the goo is of should make things proper.

a can of GOOF off will work great...you might wanna remove yoru door panel to avoid getting the adheslive remover on the black rubber wiper that wipes the window, otherwise the fuzzy stuff will peel off. use a razor blade to scrape the major stuff off..then rub it off with more goof off.... 3m has adhesive remover...but its not very strong and takes too long.

if you use a razor be very careful. I used some go remover from savons. It was 3 dollars for a very large bottle. be patient and slowly work at it. it took me a couple hours...

Did you have a problem removing the tint from the back window... ?? Does your rear defroster still work properly?

used some (very little) bug and tar remover. just be careful it doesnt drip onto the seats or anything else inside the car, as that stuff stinks. only problem is it doesnt like to come off itself once you've removed all the glue from the tint. i used windex several times after removing the glue on my windows just to get rid of the other stuff

Try AFTA. It is the best glue remover I have ever used. It comes in a tin bottle and you can get it at home depot. I've never used Goo Gone so I can't speak for it but I'm still amazed every time I use AFTA. One wipe and all the glue is removed!

I should say that I never removed tint (they'll have to throw me in jail before I do that) but I've used it on a varity of sticky substances (sticker residue, chewing gum, etc.). It will not remove paper, but it will wipe off glue like wiping up spilled milk with a paper towel. Amazing.

I seen Wal-Mart had some tint adhesive remover the last time I bought tint. I don't recall the name, but that's an option. Luckily, I have never had to remove tint, so that's all the advice I can offer.

Like maximaman14, I'm curious how you got it off your back window and does the defroster still work?

Good luck.
