Why didn't you purchased a 6spd in the first place?

The conversion would require lots of work ofcourse and it would probably be as expansive as buying whole new transmission for your car.

changing an auto from 4-6 or 5-6 speed would be real expensive and damn near impossible to boot.

you may not find a 6spd in miami or even fl but i am certain other states will have your car. just buy it out of state and pay $500-$700 shipping. that's WAY cheaper than doing a 6 spd mod....

Its going to be really hard because of the throttle-by-wire system. Probably impossible.

Another electrical thing to go wrong? Drive us crazy? Raise prices because of the extra electrical crap? Who knows?!

I know one reason is for emissions, but I think I've heard some other reason(s) related to engine performance. I'm sure someone can chime in with more details.
