You would take advantage of any edge you had. Everyone would. If women can get free ****, I say go for it. It's the guy's fault for being such an ***. "Hold your head up little man, your a king....

KevinG, you might as well start a "Singles" Forum.

Or you can just make a special Synki forum.

I am not trying to get free mod's as you put it, I am just basically on here to read about other maxima owners while having fun, I am not a type of womman who does that i work and have my own money

We need...Girl with Maxima!!!
:attention Ok, I'm a girl with a 2001 Nissan Maxima SE 5 speed (wish I had a 6 speed though). (no, my name's not Lisa or Jennifer!) I do care about my car, I don't just twist the key and push the pedals! I consider myself pretty car knowlegable. My car is meticulously clean and I am very aware of sounds and feelings that are not quite right. Aside from a nose cover, I am virtually modless (since I just bought it 6 weeks ago). I have mostly lurked on the forum to get some mod ideas. Any suggestions for someone just starting out?

What do you want to do first, performance or handling?
In all reality (depending on how far you want to take your Max), the mods should be done in the following order (this is just my opinion, but it's probably the safest for pure performance upgrades, and most likely keeps you from having to rework or redo things)...
1. Suspension and wheel/tire upgrade (suspensionm includes any lowering springs, shocks/struts, ground control, rear sway bar, front tower strut bar, and if you want, rear tower strut bar)
2. Brake system upgrades (larger or stock size higher performance aftermarket brake rotors, pads, and calipers, as well as stainless lines)
3. Transmission upgrades (aftermarket performance clutch, limited slip differential, shorter throw shifter kit...you could do things like different motor mounts and underdrive pulleys here since the tranny will be pulled out)
4. Any and all engine and exhaust performance upgrades (if you want any, that is). These include turbo kits, supercharger kits, any new cams/heads/headers/intakes, ECU upgrades, Y pipes, high flow catalytic converters, B pipe, new mufflers/silencers...etc etc. And the last sub-step is DYNO TUNING.
5. And finally, any body and paint work you want to get done. If you do body and paint work before some of the other steps, you'll most likely have to do some stuff over b/c tearing apart engines and trannys is rather messy and "could" ruin paint, or you could accidentally scratch/dent/ding body panels and such. Then you have to re-do a section or sections to get everything to match up again (this sucks, and I have first hand experience).
Now, that outline is what you would do for building a show car or true highperformance every day driver and/or race car. You can mix and match some things in the steps above without having to worry about messing stuff up (ECU upgrades, wheels and tires, any stero or interior work...). Hopefully this will help you out in your general layout. If you want, I can make a spreadsheet that has all the phases listed on it. I used to have lots of fun building stuff when I was younger (project VW's, musclecars, sleeper/grocery getters). Hope this helps get you going!

There are no MAF issues with a 2k, 2k1 using an Injen intake. These issues are for 2k2, 2k3 with Injens. Some of the 2k2 guys are even using a 2k, 2k1 MAF which seems to be working.

Once you get bitten by the 'mod bug' as it is affectionately called here, it is tough to get that mean lil' bastard to let go!
We just try to avoid guys like you, that's all.. no offence or anything.
It's nice to see some more chicks like me around! Are any of you ladies interested in other ladies or.....?
