I'm curious to see what it would look like.

 

It doesn't make too much sense just to put on the rear without the sides and the front..looks too tacky...

 

I think the front looks awesome in the pictures, but i'd like to see it in person.

 

I can't put the front on because I am too low. I will break it/chip it for sure. I could probably order the sides......I actually like the stock AE sides best.

 

In my opinion, if you don't get the whole kit, don't get it... and save your money... otherwise you'll look like those kids in High School driving a Civic with a aftermarket front bumper but no sides or rear.. WTF....!!!

 

i've often wondered what just the rear lip would look like as well... it doesnt make a huge statement, so i think it would look ok without the other body kit pieces. but i'd definatly want to see it before i went ahead and ordered the piece

 

How low is low? I forget what setup you're running.

 

Progress Springs, AGX struts. I always scrape my front end, so I know I will kill it if I get the front end. Maybe I'll get the AE front and AE sides?

I think it looks pretty good. Also emax02's car looked sweet with just the rear and sides before he modded the front lip and put it on.

 

Actually, there is a 2k2 member that has only the sides and rear stillen pieces and it looks pretty nice.

There is a member named theknite, I think, who did the stillen aero kit in sections over time and at first he only had the front lip.

Wow! That's a HUGE help! That's my color too. The only problem with that is that he also has the 2k2 side sills. Hmmmm..... It looks good other than the fact that it sticks out to the side a bit.

 

I was planning on doing just the rear valence also because my Greddy muffler is very visible from the sides. I was hoping that it would look good with the 03 side sills. That picture really helped. Thanks.

 

Dood, wtf? Your car looks LOW! FAQs say Progress' drop is 1.7, 1.5! You haven't cut springs or anything right? I'm thinking about getting some Sprints for my car. I guess we'll see how much I scrape.

 

i was wondering that myself. i've got on the AE kit with stock suspension and i'll scrape as it is. the front lip of the kit sticks forward a bit so it still affects your approach angle on driveways and such, and that's with my stock suspension..
but i've been wanting to do something about the high rear section. the stillen valence would give it a nice balance i think.

hey guys how do you think a stillen front will look along with a sarona back and sides?

 

Andy the sides and rear doesn't look bad at all. I would try to find someone that has the stillen sides on a 02-03 and try and buy off there stock side skirts which are basically the same as the AE. Man I can't wait to get progress and AGX thats my next mod unless these headers show up in the next couple months.

No, I didn't cut a coil or anything. That's just the drop of Progress Springs. Personally, I think it puts it at the perfect height.

 

Andy, what do you do roll straight out of bed onto Org?

 

I am puting on my body kit this weekend. I can do the rear first, take pics, and then put the sides on, take pics, then the front to complete it. I can upload the pictures Saturday afternoon or maybe Sunday. I have a Gray 2k1 Max, but it would still give you an idea.

 

I got to work early. I have a big, usless project due for my a$$hole sales manager.

actually, the Stillen's front lips(both aero and the 'classic') curves up so you won't really have to worry about it too much(if i can drive my car in downtown LA without scrapping off my front lip much, you can do this in AZ ). besides, since it's made out of polyurethane, the worst you can do while driving would be to scracth the paint.
