JIC Magic Coilovers

OMG wow.

That's all.

J/K seriously though, these coilovers frigging rock. It's actually QUIETER than my stock suspension, the ride is very smooth but firm, kinda like a 330ci. And the car handles like it's on rails

I have no idea how to adjust them or what optimal settings are like, I just installed them the way they came. I'm probably going to stop by JIC and have them corner balance them for me. But even at stock height it's a whole world of difference.

No more rear floaty-ness, no more front plowing. And best of all, NO WHEEL HOP!!! This is the best money I ever spent. Pics when I get my car washed

Oh, and if anyone has the instructions in ENGLISH, or a how-to on how to adjust them then please let me know.

Highly recommended!

parts came from stillen, I got a decent price, probably not the best, but it was sort of an impulse buy Ask for Dean.

install was free Only thing it cost me was some sweat and a few drops of blood.

I have a set sitting at my shop on the floor. I'm goig to use a little bit softer spring rate than what came with it though. Should work well. I was amazed at how light they were.

chinkzilla, do you need to run a camber kit with this setup? I think they are already incorporated into the coilover setup?

congrats on the new mod!

YOu take it to an alighment shop they will see the mesurments then you unbolt it and move the shock assembly to get it on point.

Approx. 12.5 turns equals 1 inch change in strut length.

I know that. How many turns translates to 1 inch change in ride height however? Thanks in advance.

Ack.. wait you're talking about the lower section? Does 1 inch change in the lower section = 1 inch lower drop?

Adjustability, blessing and a curse.

It may be a little off since the wheel is farther out from the pivot point than the knuckle where the strut connects, but not by much. Just use what I said as a guideline and it will put you very close to where you want it. And you are correct, adjustability is both good, if you know what you are doing and how it affects handling, but also bad if you don't know all of the finer details, like me, lol.
