Bigdogjonx has a sound clip on his home page. And he cant go anything past 3" dual tips, or a single large tip. Due to the body kit options are limited.

http://www.bigdogjonx.com/exhaust/exhaust10.mpg This is with the Ypipe, Testpipe, and 2.5" Mandrel Bent Bpipe. But the low grunt and loudness is coming half from the Ypipe.

But just the muffler alone sounded similar.

Is there any performance change when going from dual tip to single tip? Is it just preference?

Has anyone tryed the Bombz tunable single exhaust yet? It looks kinda cool.

What's the size of the stock exhaust tip?

There is ZERO performance gains on the muffler itself period, doesnt matter about the tips sizes or how many tips.

Thanks BigDog - how much HP you think you got from the exhaust? Did you by any chance dyno before and after?

Like I said, the exhaust will not give you any hp. I put the Catback on and redynoed and got no difference. like 1hp difference.

in order to gain some hp from the exhaust you'll need to change out all the piping, header back. and you will also need to modify the intake. more flow in and more flow out. hafta get rid of any bottlenecks for the exhaust to help gain hp.

Right now I got a custom reverse Ypipe that seems to feed this Turbo looking thing.

Oh you meant what I HAD before this turbo looking this, I had a Cattman SS Cali Spec Ypipe.

Want more noise, remove the Resonator on the Bpipe alone, that will be loud as hell then

A resonator has nothing to do with Emmisions, it deals with Noise control not polution control.

Since you brought up emmisions I might as well ask this question. I'm in Cali and you guys know that it's the strictest state when it comes to emmisions. If I install a y pipe will it have to be one that has a CARB number ( I think that's the right term? ) so when I bring my car in for SMOG I won't any crap from the test station?

No aftermarket Cali-spec Maxima Y-pipe has a CARB number.
