2k3 Child Safety Windows???

How do I turn this function off so that I can roll the back windows all the way down???

If you look at the shape of the windows and then look at the shape of the doors, you will see this is physically impossible.

yeah, its not a safety feature so much as it is just a side effect from the design of the cars. many cars whose back windows dont go all the way down is because there is not enough room below the window to "store" it while it is down.

more like they implemented a safety feature that everyone thinks is poor design... I thought they had to make the back windows not go all the way down

I would think that the "window lock" switch on the driver side is a safety feature.
Windows not going all the way down is a big pain !!

Also, I think I've seen some domestic ( GM maybe ? ) cars where the windows do go down all the way ....

the windows in my dad's lexus almost go all the way down. about 2 inches of window sticks up. hardly enough to keep something from falling out the window.
