Seat squeaking..any definitive fixes?

I did the search but....did not come up with some definitive fixes, my drivers' seat (power) has begun to emit short, sharp 'pops' or squeaks when weight shifts occurr, such as when transitioning from left to right bends, starts to stop & vice versa.
Any cures other than dealer visit?

are you sure it isnt the seat belt connector (near center console)? Mine is driving me crazy.. both sides.

The connector or the mount to the "floor"?

Well, I cant say for sure it is or is not the

connector..is there a way I can test this, such as (eegads) driving on a back road with my seat belt unfastened? Gulp......

The noise certainly seems to be originating from the lower back of the seat...not close to the console...

Another case here of seat belt squeaking. Must be another design flaw. I'm surprised there isn't a TSB on it.

I have had the same problem for a about 1 year on my power driver's seat. Took it to Nissan and they sprayed the connectors....didn't fix the problem. I will try to look at the seat in a couple of weeks and see if I can resolve this myself.

Mine just started doing this too. Mine is more like a creaking noise not a squeak, i'm gonna take it to the dealer and see what up. Chris
