Interior and Exterior Rattles

I have a 2002 Maxima SE with an aftermarket sound system in it. For the first six months the rattling wasn't that bad except for the rear deck, but lately I started hearing rattles in either the sun glasses holder or rearview mirror. Has anyone ever experienced this before and maybe have a way to fix it? Also the rear side markers kind of buzz, but I couldn't figure out a way to stop it from doing that. Thanks for your help.

Yeah I get rattling in the sunglass holder with my stock Bose system. The best thing I can think of is to get sound dampening material like dynomat. The downside is it adds weight.

Yeah, I would also like to know the solution to this problem. I would like to bring my car over to my Nissan dealer and have them fix it, but they would likely turn me down and say that it wasnt their problem.

I removed my sunglasses and turned up the volume. It still rattles like crazy.

Yeah...one year and change and they still aggrevate me from time to time...you learn to ignore them from time to time...the sunglasses holder isn't too bad...the read deck is the WORST!!!...

One the up side, the rattles are less in the warm weather....trust me...they really are....
