I am sure this has been asked numerous times, but because the search is down I am forced to ask. (since I'm a newbie)

Where does the G35 and 350Z come up with 30 more horses than the Maxima and I35?
I noticed from pics that the intake on the I35 is far more restrictive than the G35, what else?

 

theres also the exhaust (look at the exhaust pipes of a G35C and compare it to a Max) that would be the main difference it probably relates most to the breathing (getting air and out of the engine) where u get most HP. im stumped on the rest and not even sure it makes that much HP
