scratch on windshield

Guys, anyone know of a way I can get rid of a surface scratch on my windshield? One of my wiper's blade got knocked out of it's place, and the metal part was exposed. I didn't notice this, and when I turned the wipers on, it created a scratch along its path.

It's not a bad one, seems like surface only, and it's in the middle of the windshield, not directly in my view. However, I'd still like to get rid of it if possible. I DO NOT want to change my windshield, so is there any special polish that I can try?

Thanks

Possibly something like this...

http://www.gtglass.com/scratchremoval.htm

although I would more likely take it to a glass shop and see if they can fix it.

I got so many chips in my windshield from rocks that it's not even funny. You can't even see out of it. And what the heck is with the word "bump."

It is used when someone wants to 'bump' the thread back to the top of the list.
