went to dealer today asked about ecu

and i got some stuff done. i asked about the ecu upgrade and they said that they will not do it unless the car throws a code so my question is how can i get this up grade that will help my car perform better

What kind of Maxima is it (year, auto or man)? Did they check the this "code"? Did you tell them it feels like it looses power?

i have a 03 and its an auto also i didnt say anything like that i just said there is a new update and that it should get teh new software what do i have to tell them i dont know about hp loss becuase i only had the car for a month
