went to dealer today asked about ecu
and i got some stuff done. i asked about the ecu upgrade and they said that they will not do it unless the car throws a code so my question is how can i get this up grade that will help my car perform better

i have a 03 and its an auto also i didnt say anything like that i just said there is a new update and that it should get teh new software what do i have to tell them i dont know about hp loss becuase i only had the car for a month
