1.2.3 gone

Talk about bad luck. I sat in my apartment, heard an alarm go off thaught nahhhh cant be mine. no honda civic with stickers can make the stock alarm go off..and my car was parked in my cousin's driveway, the front touching the house...hmmm step outside and see my cousin walking back saying "they just stole your headlights" all i could do is " " ... i hate crooks....ran off with one of my head lights, scratched and bent the hood and pulled the other headlight out halfway....got a description from a fella up the street, but get this he said i thought they were ur friends or something so I didnt get the licence plate number.....all i could think sarcasticly was "yup i have friends that come and steal my headlights as a joke".......i cant report it to the insurance company... so ill have to pay this one on my own...any one have an idea of the estimated damage to my wallet....thanx in advance.

Ditto, why can't you report it?

From personal experience, the repair will most likely run you from 2,900 to 3,900, depending on the parts damaged.

Perhaps if you inquire about having the HIDs replaced with 00-01 Halogens the cost will go down, and you will sleep well in the future (that's my M O next time it happens to me).

Sorry about your theft, I can definitely relate.

**** these thefts. mine havent been stolen yet but that's because i have a garage. maybe we should put drones or other automated guns in our headlights. if they take 'em they get shot from bullets coming out of the hole where the bulbs used to be

Would you beleive this is actually illegal? Apparently, it is illegal to booby trap your property to prevent / stop someone from stealing it. Amazing world we live in where the criminals have rights.

Personally, I don't think we should throw them in jail - just gouge their eyes out. No need for HIDs then!
