problem with hood

hey guys,

One side of my hood seems to be "bent out", like it doesn't close all the way and there's a gap between the hood and the rest of the car on that side. I didn't hit anything, and there looks to be no evidence of damage..could it be the hydraulic arm ? Has this happened to anybody, and is it hard to repair? Thanks.
