anybody know what this is??
driving on the road, when all of a sudden the car basically quit on me. the speed dropped all the way down (gas pedal basically dropped under my foot), steering locked up, and all the dash warning lights came on: brake, oil, battery, service engine, etc...
when i pulled over, i tried starting it but the engine wouldn't turn over. after a while (probably like 30-40 mins) the car started, and was able to take it home.
next day, i take it to a friends shop and he hooked up something to the computer (i guess) to check what was up. it was a cam sensor misfiring. the machine said the car was drivable and the service engine light went off. but as soon as i drove the car to my neighborhood, it crapped out again!!!
i called the dealership today, but of course they said bring it in first. only problem, will my car make it that far...

you know how expensive a repair like that's going to be?? (i can't use the search function)

 

Should be under 36k warrenty if u dont have an aftermarket intake?

 

car is completely stock, but i'm waaaaayyyy over 36k warrenty
(actually double that)

 

Then i would check ebay for a MAF
