2KSE to 350Z Track

Thanks for all the great advice and chats over the last two years. I got a terrific deal at the dealer and was able to get out of my lease hole (10,000 miles over with 5 months to go) for free. They paid the over-mileage, all of the fees and wear costs, and the 5 remaining payments PLUS $3K off of a full-loaded silver Track model. HOW COULD I RESIST.

I will be selling my Courtesy strut tower brace and my Sirius satellite radio so look for my post soon or contact me directly. Will miss all the good posts.

Take care guys! (BTW, the 350Z is SO sweet!)

Yep, sorry. Is a lease...but residual is $14K so I am just going to keep it and refinance that the residual. Thus, the extended warranty. Gotta love the lease!

BTW, my salesperson was a she and was about 5'10, long legs, brunette and big ( . ) ( . )

well then I'd have to say thats expensive for a lease but its a 350Z, they paid off your other lease and the salesperson sounds hot so I can see why you did what you did..

P.S. I hope she's a swallower...

Holy **** 570 a month for a lease?? That means with your 2900 down and 570 a month x 48 months is 30K!! Even if you pay the 14k cash at lease end you will have almost 45K in a 350Z?? You can rest assured you did pay all the milage penalty and fees.....jees i dont know why people lease? Well i do but man you pay through the nose for a vehicle like that. well hope you enjoy it

No offense, but you're a fool to finance the residual. You're going to lose your ****. $30k into a lease doesn't seem like a real good deal to me.

I'm leasing my Maxima and my total lease payments are less than half the MSRP of the car. Obviously the residual is higher (and more than the value of the car) so I will be definitely walking away from it after the 3 yrs.

The only way it might work to your advantage is if you keep the mileage down and the value of the car is more than the residual (usually never happens). Then you can buy the car at the end of the lease and make a little money by selling it right away.

I just couldn't imagine spending almost 600 bones a month for 4-5 years on a car that won't even own!! You crazy!!! The insurance has got to be killer too....

I believe what he's paying is about right. A buddy of mines just got a fully loaded track Z and he paid 45K. At the dealer where I get my car serviced, the fully loaded Z is 35K with a 7K markup, which brings it to 42K.
So from what I see he is paying what most people are paying for a fully loaded 350.

Good Luck with the new digs.

Not a fan of leasing, and thats not a good deal.. but one diff about a maxima vs a 350z, the 350z will still be worth the residual. You'd be lucky to get a clean 90's 300Z for 14K.

ah dude!
If you are making monthly payment the car is not really yours. Yes the bank gave you a loan and you paid for the car in full. But until those monthly installments are done the bank owns you.
I work for a bank, so take my word.

I'm not disputing that....the bank will ALWAYS own me. I use credit cards wherever I go. Unless you pay for EVERYTHING in cash, the bank will always own you....Mortgage, loan, credit cards..whatever.

I'm fine with that...at least I know that after 5 years, she's all mine...

The bank ownz me and I luv it!

This is a $36K car. The monthly payments with only the TT&L down were close to $750 a month with great APR ~5%. (Haven't done the exact math so chill out accts) So, basically, I got out from under my other lease and everything that I would have had to owe on that when trading it in (15,000 miles x .$15; 6 payments of $350/month; lease termination fee; wear and tear, etc.) and still got it below sticker. Go the Nissan dealer and try to buy a car for that much cash. Its going to cost you. I would rather pay a lower payment over time than pay over $700 to OWN it at the end. Just how I feel. WOuld rather have a nicer car and just keep paying only the TT&L and no downpayment.
