Shocks and struts info

hi i rember a previous post about someone installing 4 gen shocks and struts on a 5 gen max and i was wondering if it was easy or run into any problems while installing them?

oh yeah...a couple problems...

first, you'll need to either buy a set of 4th gen front strut mounts or you'll have to modify yours. you pretty much need to grind down the nipples on the mounts...i'd just modify them instead of spending $70.

second, you'll need to elongate the bottom strut bolt hole on your front struts. yup, you'll have to cut it all the way down to make it fit on a 5th gen.

could i use a 4 gen camber plate instead?
