A few questions about greddy

I currently have the greddy evo exhaust on my 2k. I was thinking about chopping off the end part and welding a new can on for a better look. I don't like the "grapefruit shooter" look. How wide is the piping that goes into the actual exhaust can, not just the tip. Thanks. Also, does anyone know how long it is from the back of hte can, to the end of the tip? How much do you think it would cost to weld at like Meinike or something? Thanks
-Pat

The piping is 2.5 inch. I don't know how much it would cost to have a rear section made at a muffler shop. Do you like the HKS look? If so I think it would bolt up with the Greddy b-pipe.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks the Greddy Evo is 2.5 inches but it's not.
According to the Greddy site ( www.greddy.com ) the Evo is 60-70 mm. That converts to 2.3622 and 2.7559 inches. From what i understand the diameter is 60mm until just before the muffler where it becomes 70mm.
