Dang I never knew that everybody felt so strongly against these rims.I saw a maxima on custommaxima.com that had these wheels and they kind of looked sweet. what other chrome rims would you suggest and what size?

dont go chrome trust me. you will start to have problem with them after like 2 or 3 years. i have 18 inch on my 4th gen for about 3 years and the chrome started to chip in the inside thus causing the tire to go flat. I have taken it to get it fixed and asked them about it and they said that they do it all the time. its because most rims that get chromed are very shi tty. so go Billet or something else if yo uwnat shinny rims.

later

I saw them on a Big 6 (Cl600) and they didnt look bad, but I can think of many other wheels that I would get rather than those....

i like the barlettas, but don't think they'd look right on a maxima

and as far as chrome chipping after 2-3 yrs, only if you buy cheap wheels, i have chrome wheels for almost 3 yrs now, and not one thing wrong with them

You are correct. It all depends on the quality of the diping process ..

I don't think the barletta wheels are ulgy but I have seen them on a lot of cars and i don't think they would look as good on a Maxima since the maxima is a sporty car you should stick with a sporty wheel. I have some chrome Giovanni Essens and they look great... in my opinion at least. Find a different wheel the barlettas are played now...
