brake pad help
for some reason i can't do a search, so sorry if it's been covered already. i need new brake pads, but i don't know anything about most of them. i've used axxis, hawk, and ebc pads before, but i went on the stoptech site and they only list ultimates. but then i went to nissanpartstore.com and they list the metal mashers and deluxe compounds for the rear only. also the way they list stuff doesn't really help in comparison, manufacturers list as Japan, Nippon, PBR or Axxis, Advantex. what others are out there?
basically i just need a decent street pad that doesn't squeal or warp rotors, and hopefully under $100 for a complete set of fronts and rears. i could care less about dusting. and if you could include some info on where to buy, that would help also. thanks.
edit: if anyone is selling a used set of stock pads, i may consider buying them as well.

I have used medium duty pads in the past. Just remember that the Max has semi-metallic in front and ceramic in the back. I have a 2k3, so I haven't changed the pads yet. But on other vehicles, they have worked fine. It doesn't hurt to ask the guy at the parts counter, they can advise you on the brake pads too. Here's a great site with pics to learn how to do you're own pads:

looks like the exact same way i change them on my subaru. thanks for the help.
i was just looking around at some of the other service writeups and not sure where to add tips but when bleeding the clutch, i find it really easier to pump the pedal a few times before depressing the pedal and opening/shutting the bleeder valve.
