35mm Offset Rims Question?

Can anyone point me to some pics of lowered Maxima's with 35mm offset rims? (I am thinking about buying rims with this offset, but need to know how they look). Thanks!

Dave,

Do you get any rubbing with the 245's? My car is lowered with H&R and I am considering using 17x8 235/45/17. I originally thought I would want 45mm offset or greater. My calculations indicate that a 35mm offset will probably push the rims "out" almost an inch from where they are now . . . Now that I'm thinking about it, I bet I could run 245/40/17's on a 17x8 rim . . . hmmm. Do you get a lot of sidewall flex with the 245/40 tire?

Here's the page I'm using to get the offset calcs:

Thanks for your help!

no rubbing at all and no sidewall flex. I'm also running Maxspeed springs. You might want to try a search with other members running a 45mm offset on a 17x8 wheel.

I'd love to search, but unfortunately, no new registrations are being accepted . . . so I have no choice but to post and wait for responses. Any chance you could help me out by running the search and posting some links?

Thanks again!
