Odometer readings

Hi all. I have a brand new 2k3 SE. When toggling through the different odometer "screens" (for lack of a better term) there are some that I don't understand and I haven't been able to find them in the manual. I was hoping someone could shed some light on it for me.

1) DTE - what does this mean?

2) It says ____MPH. This does not change to reflect my current speed, in fact it stays still the whole time I'm driving.

3) There is also a clock. It's not the right time, and by how much it's off seems to change.

Thanks guys.

Re: Odometer readings

1 DTE= distance till empty- how far the gas in your tank will allow you to go.
2 this is the average mph that you've driven since it was reset
3 this is a timer( not the actual time) which counts how long you've been driving, you can reset this also
